The Center for Popular Education and Human Rights Ghana

The Center for Popular Education and Human Rights – Ghana (CEPEHRG) is a community-based organization that operates primarily in the eastern and central regions of Ghana and Greater Accra and focuses on prevention, education and advocacy for a broad range of marginalized and at risk communities. CEPEHRG seeks to protect and uphold the human rights and health of all sexual minorities. The center has pioneered HIV treatment and mental health services by offering counseling and referrals, and running a drop-in health clinic for men who have sex with men (MSM). Its interactive drama troupe reaches over 6,000 people annually with messages of inclusion. CEPEHRG also contributes to build the capacities of small organizations that provide MSM-friendly health services.
